Great, great experience. AWESOME soul section. Just AWESOME. Picked up three great ones for quite reasonable prices. Dude who runs this knows what he's doing. This was the third shop I visited while in Boston, and wow did three times ever turn out to be the charm ! (Also hit two other, er, not even close competitor shops... see my reviews for details)

Treated like a criminal instead of customer.
Tried to buy a shirt, was denied and told to wait for all in my party to ring out. Cost you a sale, gfys. Not ever returning again and not bringing any more customers who buy with me.
Just stopped in to look around. For a place called âcheapoâ kind of weird that all the records are $30+ with the only âcheapâ records being records that Iâm pretty sure werenât even worth a dollar when they were new.
Had some interesting clothes, mid 80âs fare. Saw a sweater I was interested in but unsure that the size would fit, since sizing standards have changed in 50 years. Try on the sweater over my clothes, itâs a bit tight. Go about carefully putting it back on the hanger, just like I found it.
Employee comes up and says I canât try things on. Iâm just supposed to buy it without knowing itâll fit, walk outside, put it on and then return it??? (Assuming I can even return it at all. Probably just trying to trick people.) He sort of rudely nods to a sign and leaves. Sign says youâre not allowed to try on clothes due to Covid. Itâs been 3 YEARS! And Covid isnât even a registered emergency anymore. We are all fully breathing on these clothes that were probably donated to you guys, that youâre selling for $30. That I was considering buying if you hadnât been so rude about it.
Let people try on clothes. Especially if itâs just a sweater, which is just going over my clothes. Ridiculous. Wonât be back.
A nice shop with good crate digging potential if you have the time. And lots of fun tshirts. I didn't find anything I wanted but still enjoyed stopping by.
Not a friendly guy at the counter. No turntables to listen to the records before buying. The place is clean and organized.

This is the ONLY record store I go to. The owner is extremely helpful and has endless knowledge of every genre of music and always has great suggestions on new albums and artists. It's an extremely unique store that is very hard to leave because he has and loves to talk shop. And if theres an album you cant find anywhere hes the guy you need to talk to. 10 ot of 10
